Thanks to everyone who came to help spread mulch this morning at Glenwood Park: Michelle Phillips, Sharry Carey, Franchesca Druggan, Dan Downing, and Jim Lashbrook. (I was also there to help.) Much still needs to be done, so this is by no means the last opportunity everyone will have to join us, in addition to being a very large park - there is also a LOT left to do. In order to add some variety and to put the color scheme of our website more in sync with the colors our organization uses in its promotional materials and logos, we're in the process of making some changes to the website itself. It will still have the same features ... the only thing different will be the various colors used. Some will change off and on as the site is tweaked, so please be patient! :)

Our thanks go out to Dan Downing, Jim Lashbrook, Dana Messner, and the Growing to Green Coalition for spending Satruday afternoon and part of yesterday in our neighborhood planting daffodil bulbs along West Broad Street in the rock garden along the sidewalk in Glenwood Park. This will provide a beautiful entryway for people coming into Highland West. It has been reported that members of our community have had pets stolen from their yards in recents weeks. In addition to cats and kittens, this even has included dogs. When letting your animals out, please be sure to check on them and do not leave them outside for long periods of time without being attended to.
