Thanks to all who came to help this morning at Glenwood Park!!

Thanks to everyone who came to help spread mulch this morning at Glenwood Park:  Michelle Phillips, Sharry Carey, Franchesca Druggan,  Dan Downing, and Jim Lashbrook.  (I was also there to help.)  Much still needs to be done, so this is by no means the last opportunity everyone will have to join us, in addition to being a very large park - there is also a LOT left to do.  As I have often said, this is the very first park created by the City Parks and Rec Department after their creation in…See More

Your computer is fine! Just the colors have changed!

In order to add some variety and to put the color scheme of our website more in sync with the colors our organization uses in its promotional materials and logos, we're in the process of making some changes to the website itself.  It will still have the same features ... the only thing different will be the various colors used.  Some will change off and on as the site is tweaked, so please be patient!     :)See More

2,800 Daffodil Buibs Planted in Glenwood Park!

Our thanks go out to Dan Downing, Jim Lashbrook, Dana Messner, and the Growing to Green Coalition for spending Satruday afternoon and part of yesterday in our neighborhood planting daffodil bulbs along West Broad Street in the rock garden along the sidewalk in Glenwood Park.  This will provide a beautiful entryway for people coming into Highland West.  Hopefully this year will bring other beautiful things to this historic city  park that officially turns 100 this year, the first land…

BE SURE TO KEEP WATCH OVER YOUR PETS WHEN THEY ARE OUT IN THE YARD!
