HOT DOG NIGHT at Highland West Community Garden
August 26, 2011 from 6pm to 9pm
This is a community get together at the Highland West Community Garden located at 21 N Wheatland Ave. We will provide Hot Dogs, and Other foods made from the Veggies we harvested from the garden. Time is from 6pm-9pm There will also be music and more.

John and I were thinking of having a hot dog night on Friday August 26th. I will also make some dishes that will incorporate fruit n veggies from the garden. ANYONE interested in helping out please contact Kelly. Please bring seating as we only have a limited size picnic table, Food, games and just neighborly fun and chat... Girl Scout Cookie Time
Hey Everyone it's that time of year again, The Girl Scouts are doing their annual fund raiser selling their Girl
Scout cookies. Please help them out and order a few boxes. They are $3.50 a box this year if interested please email me at kelkraut@yahoo.com
It is a shame the kids can't sell door to door any longer and selling in front of a store is almost as dangerous. These girls are getting their cookie money and cookies stolen from them at these sales.

OMG I can't believe this one
Today the child from 90 Eldon Ave and his friends broke into a vacant home on N Eureka. The house is bank owned but still has a majority of the old occupants things inside. The kids walked out with all sorts of electronics and copper. The police were called out to investigate this and we were told since it ( the home) is bank owned, there is nothing that can be done to anyone who goes inside to steal anything including the copper and appliances. They can only ask the people to…
